If you’re a fan of the show Supergirl, you’ll recall the planet Krypton and its proximity to its sun, Rao. If the writers have it right, it seems that Krypton once had more than one sun, but their remaining yellow sun wasn’t enough to sustain their civilization, and ultimately they were forced to move off-planet to survive. But what if they hadn’t? What if they had just had one more planet between them and their sun? Would they still be around today? And what can we learn from this fictional story?
Look Around You
Every living thing on this planet is here because of our sun. Plants need sunlight to grow, and we need plants to breathe. Animals need sunlight to stay warm, and we need animals to provide us with food. Even the water we drink comes from evaporation caused by the sun. Without our sun, life as we know it would not be possible.
It Is Brighter Here
Krypton was a planet that was much like our own, except for one major difference- it didn’t have a yellow sun. As a result, the planet and its inhabitants were much weaker than those on Earth. Eventually, Krypton’s sun went supernova, destroying the planet and all its people.
‘This Tree, It Never Moves. It Grows No Leaves.’
The tree that Jor-El is referring to is a very special tree. It is a tree that was brought to Krypton from Earth by Jor-El’s grandfather, and it is the last remaining piece of Earth on Krypton. The tree is a symbol of hope for Jor-El, and it represents the potential for life on Krypton. However, the tree is not able to grow on Krypton because the planet does not have a yellow sun.
You’ll Freeze Without Your Sun
On the planet Krypton, they had advanced technology and a highly-evolved society. But their planet was too far from their sun, and as a result, their civilization was ultimately destroyed. The same thing could happen to us if we’re not careful. Our sun is the source of all life; without it, we would freeze and die. That’s why it’s so important to take care of our planet and make sure that we don’t pollute or damage it in any way.
Our World Was Not Made for Your Kind
The planet Krypton was a world much like our own, except for one key difference- it lacked a yellow sun. As a result, the planet and its inhabitants were doomed from the start. The people of Krypton lived in a constant state of fear, knowing that their world was slowly dying.
Without Our sun, We Will All Perish
The sun is the source of all life; without it, we would not be here. Krypton is a prime example of what can happen to a planet when its sun goes away. The once-great civilization was brought to its knees, and eventually destroyed. This just goes to show how important our sun is, and how we must do everything we can to protect it. Physicists tells us that our sun will burn out in about 5 billion years- in the meantime, let’s shine the light it gives us.
All I Ever Wanted Was to Save My Home
Kal-El and Kara were born on Krypton, a planet that was much like Earth in many ways. But their sun was different. It was red and dying, and it made their planet cold. Their parents were scientists, and they worked tirelessly to find a way to save their home. But in the end, they failed. The sun went out, and Krypton died. As Kara watched her home planet die, she realized that everything hinges on the power of our yellow sun.
At Least We Have Each Other
On the planet Krypton, things were not going well. The once great civilization was on the brink of destruction. But despite their dire circumstances, the people of Krypton had each other. They stuck together and tried to make the best of a bad situation. A lesson as humans we can learn regarding saving our planet.
